One thing Roibeard and I love about Chicago is our annual trip to the Christkindlmarket. It's a German/World Holiday Market right in the heart of downtown Chicago. We go there to get our advent calendar, do some Christmas shopping, and of course enjoy warm cider and potato pancakes! This was Micheal's second year at the holiday market. The previous year was incredibly cold when we went, so Micheal and I mainly stayed indoors in the live music area. This current trip however was on an incredibly beautiful day in early December. The sun was out and it was so warm that I didn't even need a coat!
